About Us
We are a Target Shooting Club for smallbore rifle, air rifle and air pistol with about 85 members. In 2015 we incorporated Taylors Air Rifle and Pistol Club who, for a long time, had been renting the club facilities on a Thursday night. As a result, we now also have the Pony Club early on a Tuesday evening to practice the air pistol discipline of the Modern Pentathlon.
The Club is here to promote sport shooting. We are happy whether you just want to plink away at a few practice targets, or if you want to develop all the way to international standard. We'll support your shooting career as best we can.
We are located in East Court a very pleasant park on the edge of East Grinstead, unknown even to some of it's residents. We have a 25yd indoor .22 range, an airgun range for 6yd and 10m and we're the only Club in Sussex with a dedicated outdoor range for 50m and 100yd shooting. Our Clubhouse has been described by some as having "one of the best club houses in the South East". We welcome old and young (14 +) alike and we try to make everyone feel at home.
Our members shoot in postal league competitions winter and summer in teams and as individuals. We organise two Open Shoots a year and host both the Eastbourne Thwaites Competition and the Sussex County Open Shoot.
